Thomas & Betts NASCAR
Consumer, trade and sales contest designed to energize the entire Thomas & Betts system. Based on sales during "peak selling season" T&B distributors, sales reps and end users could qualify to win a NASCAR fantasy trip to the Winston Cup NAPA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Winners were treated to an all-expenses paid vacation that included a welcome reception, first class hotel and travel accommodations, Busch and Winston Cup race tickets, and all-access passes to garage tours, pit tours, and driver appearances.
 
Dixie Crystals Sugar Bowl Promotion
Promotion designed to incent consumer, trade and Dixie Crystal's sales force through unique sponsorship activities tied in with the Sugar Bowl. TV, print, on-pack and POS display advertising and promotion for 12 weeks supporting consumer sweepstakes to win fantasy trips to New Orleans and the Sugar Bowl. Sales force and trade promotion featuring Sugar Bowl trips awarded based on volume sales by account plus special product display initiatives. Promotion was attributed to trade volume purchases exceeding 200 carloads (26% increase) during promotion period.
